February 11th: International Day of Women and Girls in Science, meet Nicole O'Sullivan (TCD).


The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is an annual observance established to promote equal access and participation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Recognized on February 11 each year, the day highlights the importance of gender equality in science and encourages discussions on key issues through a designated annual theme.

The observance is coordinated by international organizations to support initiatives that advance women's roles in scientific fields and foster inclusive opportunities in STEM.
